Backseat
Str-angel

Hey angel,
Where’d you hide that key?

I saw it,
but when your eyes met mine
the shadows driving your black chariot

reached out for
mine,
fried, black by purple love
torn— tight, twist and trying—but, now, off
and as the night lights snap me
back—in, to waking—

You blush, brushing blonde locks
back beyond the sweet folds of pink ear lobes and—

say

Angel

where’d you put that key..?

A white hi tears out from chest
and as the waves
break over your
rosing cheeks I think

sure! you were mine,
but your eyes, close, and that chariot
carries
you off
to some sunless, endless, nightset.

Dark shards of my heart
hear your tale,
strung tin cans
crashing to gray pavement below.

But as the lit cigarette falls twice from my lips
a cold key drops to closed palm
and I wonder how long you’ve been waiting...

Update 10.26.6.21.11-0

Assimilation of subject 427XX893 (code-name "Moonbeam") nearly complete.

Subject shows unusually strong willpower. He keeps mumbling something about "dub step"

Mad World

Sometimes music is what keeps us going!

I feel like watching Donnie Darko again.

...or listening to dubstep

Woohoo!

Nothing ever goes quite according to plan, right? But it's all good!

Thanks to Professor Richard Bower and his videogame narrative class at CCC, my experience at Dr. Richard Marcoux's Enitiative Global Game Jam, and my own curiosity, a number of videogame-related projects have been set into motion. Some of these projects have been scrapped, others are still in the development stage, and still more are just beginning. It's fun! My friend and classmate Matt and I started a videogame design club called D3 Interactive at Cayuga Community College and met up with some amazing, talented individuals (Jason, Paul, the other Jason, Chelsea, Adam, Josh, Corin, and others [<3]). Through D3 Interactive I have met graphics artists, musicians, writers, designers, coordinators, bloggers, and most importantly (to me), friends.

I'll still update this blog occasionally, but I'm pretty busy these days! Don't forget to enjoy the weather, everyone! It's therapeutic!

P.S. I find this song and this video absolutely mindblowing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iFizEkfEAQ.
